Nope. We stopped selling hardcopy tickets because they were being abused.

Question 4

How do I get to Emmen?

Pitfest is located in Emmen, in the northeast of the Netherlands. Emmen is very close to the German border and is less than 2 hours away from Amsterdam, about 3 hours from Belgium and about 2 hours from the Ruhrpott area.

Pitfest takes place on the fields of the rugbyclub, close to the FC Emmen football stadium.

**Travel information to the festival by car**
From Germany (A31):
- make sure you end up on the A31 autobahn
- take the Emmen-Schöningsdorf exit
- keep following this road and take exit 6 - Emmen-Oost
- at the bottom of the exit, turn right, follow N862 Emmen-Oost
- Follow this road and turn right at the N391 - Stadion exit
- At the end of this exit, turn right towards Stadion
- Follow the road and turn right at the exit Businesspark Meerdijk
- after this you can follow the Pitfest signs and find a parking spot

From the south (below Zwolle ;-))
- make sure you end up on the A28 highway from Zwolle to Groningen
- follow the A37 - Emmen-Meppen(D)
- keep following the A37 and take exit N34 Emmen-Groningen
- keep following and take exit N391 Emmen-West
- keep following the N391 and turn right at the exit Businesspark Meerdijk
- after this you can follow the Pitfest signs and find a parking spot

**Travel information to the camping by car**
From Germany (A31):
- make sure you end up on the A31 autobahn

**By Public Transportation (this goes for festival and camping):**
* Make sure you get to Emmen trainstation in the first place. 
* Our festival site is very easy to reach with public transportation. There's a bus stop within a few minutes walking distance from the festival!
* From the Emmen trainstation, there is a bus stopping nearby the festival every half hour. 
* Lines 93 and 94 both stop nearby festival, called bus stop "Emmen Stadion".

Can I take my own food and/or drinks onto the festival terrain?

Nope. We have plenty of food and drinks available for all of you.

But I am allergic to your food and/or drinks / But I have a condition that forces me to eat/drink my own goods.

If you bring a doctor’s statement, it’s all fine and you can bring your own drinks/food.

Is it ok if I sleep in my car on the parking?

Accepted Answer

No. Due to government rules, we can’t allow people to camp in their cars. We have a nice festival campsite where you can stay over for the weekend. Or you can check out the other hotels and accomodations in the area, which are listed on our [info page](https://pitfest.nl/info).

Do I need to pay for a parking spot?

Nope. There are a ton of parking spaces close to the festival site.

**It is not allowed to camp on the parking spaces.**

I would like to work on your festival as a volunteer.

Can I take my dog/cat/pet to the festival?

No. Please leave your furry friends at home. There’s a lot of noise and people, so it’s for their own safety.

Will there be merch?

Oh god yes, tons of merch! The bands and distro’s will be set up in a special merch area.

Will there be vegan food available?

Hell yes. We will have enough different food stands, also with vegan options.

I am the designated driver, but I’d like to drink a beer.

Good for you! We will serve you alcohol free beer then.

Can I bring my own food and/or drinks onto the campsite?

Can I take a shower on the campsite?

Yes! Showers are FREE of use and are open during daytime.

For how many people is a caravan/camper ticket?

Accepted Answer

For 2 people. You can bring more people if you want and you’ll need a camping ticket for every person on top of the two for the camper ticket.

I need a coffee and breakfast in the morning.

Good for you! We will have a breakfast available at the camping bar.

I forgot my toothbrush and can’t live without brushing my teeth.

No worries! We are located pretty close to a supermarket. It's about 5 minutes on foot.

Is there a power connection at the campsite?

Nope. The Pitfest campsite is a temporary camping without power connections..

How much does a drink cost?

For Pitfest 2024, a drink token is priced at € 3,33.

How does your cup system work?

Accepted Answer

* Every visitor receives one free CUP TOKEN when entering the festival. Hand in your cup token when ordering a drink in exchange for a cup.
* New drink? Hand in your used cup for a new one.
* You can also exchange an empty cup for a cup token.
* If you lose your cup or cup token or you don't have a cup or cup token when ordering a drink, a new cup has to be bought for 0,5 token.
* Cups and cup tokens can not be exchanged for cash/money.

Are camping tickets included in the festival tickets?

No. If you want to stay on our camping, you will have to [buy a camping ticket](https://pitfest.nl/tickets).

Is there a wardrobe for my stuff?

Accepted Answer

Yes! You can find the wardrobe at our merch booth. We don't have lockers, only a wardrobe.
